The year 2006

SeeD Group Software began in October of 2006 when Francisco Cordoba was making a researching about the implementation of CMMI in SMEs.

The year 2007

In middle of January of 2007 William Vera join Francisco in the work of creating a company capable of transforming the ICT sector of Colombia.
But this will not be accomplished if Aldibier Morales would not participate in the adventure in march of 2007.
They create a new business model based in the SaaS and create their first system with the collaboration of Solingtec S.A for some lotteries of Bogota. Then the company was established in July 17 of 2007.
They have been participated in some fairs being held in Corferias.
And they began their activities in the Tecnoparque Colombia headquarters (a project of SENA for help new companies to growth).
SeeD Software has been recognized by IEEE in the RRR of 2007 in Chile as a study case and by the IEEE UD they grant a certification for their inclusion of students to the real working environment. Also has participated in congress and forums of Free Software, because SeeD promote the interoperability between the Free Applications and the corporate applications.

The year 2008

Nowadays, SEED has more than 15 people working in several areas as Production, marketing , innovation and social responsibility. And is working for gain access in U.S market.
